Vicks Sinex Aloe 0.5mg/ml Nasal Spray Solution 15ml

Vicks Sinex Aloe 0.5mg/ml Nasal Spray Solution is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of nasal congestion.

Active substance : Oxymetazoline hydrochloride 0.5mg/ml.

Oxymetazoline acts on alpha-adrenergic receptors in the vessels of the nasal mucosa, producing vasoconstriction and nasal decongestion.

Dosage and method of administration:

Adults and children over 10 years: 1 to 2 sprays in each nostril 2-3 times a day maximum. Children 6-10 years: 1 spray in each nostril 2-3 times a day maximum. Vicks Sinex Aloe should not be used in children under 6 years of age. Vicks Sinex Aloe should not be used more than 5-7 consecutive days. Nasal route.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Patients on monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or patients who have taken MAOIs in the preceding 2 weeks. Patients with angle-closure glaucoma. Patients after transsphenoidal hypophysectomy. When there is inflammation of the skin and mucosa of the nasal vestibule and crusts (rhinitis sicca). Patients with acute coronary heart disease or cardiac asthma.
